[Clclist] Catch the Reading Bug booklist

Dear Librarians:



It's time again to put together a recommended reading list for SRP 2008,
"Catch the Reading Bug." With the assistance of Christine Sarrazin and Deb
Zulick of CLC,  this  booklist will include all our recommendations and be
available state-wide. It will be similar to the Holiday Gift-Giving book
brochures, and will include titles for both our listeners and readers.



Please e-mail me one or two (or more) recommendations for your favorite *
"bug"* books for children and/or "*Metamorphosis*" -related titles for
teens; include:

-- Title & author

-- Your recommended age level :

Babies, Toddlers & Preschoolers (ages 0-4); Young Readers & Listeners (ages
4-8); Middle Readers (ages 8-12); Teens (ages 12+)

-- A brief citation - what it's about and why it's superb, all in about 30
words or less!



Fiction and non-fiction are both great.  The deadline for submissions is
Friday, March 1, 2008.  We'll use as many recommendations as we can, put
them into reproducible brochures, and get the files out to you by the
beginning of June in time to distribute to your patrons during SRP
registration.

suggestions!
