Welcome to the 2nd Annual InfoAnytime Challenge, May Madness!

It's time for the second annual ... 
What is the InfoAnytime "May Madness" Challenge?
The InfoAnytime Challenge is a standard elimination tournament - the last
library standing wins! The 64 heaviest volume InfoAnytime libraries qualify
to participate in the InfoAnytime Challenge. If your library is in the top
64 you are automatically in!  (If your library isn't in the top 64, you can
still win...see below for the info about the Best Transcript contest)
Participating libraries, by type/name:
*	Academic libraries: Asnuntuck CC, Capital CC, CCSU, Coast Guard
Academy, ECSU, Gateway CC, Housatonic CC, Manchester CC, Middlesex CC,
Mitchell College, Norwalk CC, Post University, St. Joseph College, Three
Rivers CC, Univ. of Hartford, Univ. of New Haven 
*	Public libraries: Ansonia, Bethel, Bloomfield/Prosser, Bridgeport,
Bristol, Brookfield, Canton, Clinton/Hull, Cromwell/Belden, Danbury, East
Hartford, East Haven/Hagaman, East Lyme, Ellington/Hall, Essex, Fairfield,
Glastonbury/Welles-Turner, Granby, Groton, Hamden, Hartford, Ledyard,
Middletown/Russell, Milford, Monroe/Edith Wheeler, New Haven, New London,
Norwich/Otis, Old Saybrook/Acton, #ff9900/Case, Plainville, Rowayton,
Salisbury/Scoville, Seymour, Shelton/Plumb, Simsbury, Southbury,
Stamford/Ferguson, Stratford, Suffield/Kent, Wallingford, Waterbury/Bronson,
West Hartford, Westport, Wethersfield, Windsor 
Based on their InfoAnytime usage statistics, libraries are seeded, divided
into regions and paired off. (See the InfoAnytime Challenge bracket

.) The winner of each library pairing will advance to the next round.
Winners are determined by the number of InfoAnytime sessions completed in
the duration of the specific round.
Winners
The library that emerges from the finals with the most reference sessions
wins the title! Receive bragging rights - and a Nintendo Wii(tm)!
Another Way to Play - "Best Transcript"
Any InfoAnytime Library can participate in this event. Each library will
identify and submit one transcript to the InfoAnytime Steering Committee.
Transcripts are judged on accuracy, the reference interview, and patron
satisfaction. The winning library in this competition will also win a
Nintendo Wii(tm)!
Schedule
The InfoAnytime Challenge will take place as follows:
*	1st Round - Monday, May 5 
*	2nd Round - Tuesday, May 6 
*	3rd Round - Wednesday, May 7 
*	4th Round - Thursday, May 8 
*	5th Round (Semi-finals) - Friday-Monday, May 9-12 (totals for the 4
days) 
*	6th Round (Finals) - Tuesday-Friday, May 13-16 (totals for the 4
days)
