What an exciting start to the 2nd Annual InfoAnytime May Madness Challenge!

East Lyme PL is off to a strong lead in 1st place, followed by last year's
winner, Granby PL.
Surprises included last place Brookfield Library's win over Milford, and
Bristol Library's upset over CCSU.
Remember, even if your library did not make it to the 2nd Round, you can
still win in the "Best Transcript" category (see below).

The InfoAnytime Challenge is a standard Elimination Tournament - the last
library standing wins. Winners are determined by the number of InfoAnytime
sessions completed in the duration of the specific round.
The library who emerges from the Finals with the most reference sessions
wins the Title and a Wii! There is also a second chance to win - the
library chosen in the InfoAnytime Challenge "Best Transcript" competition
will also win a Wii! Visit www.ctlibrarians.org for tournament rules, info
and bracket.

Ideas to promote InfoAnytime usage:

*	Record a message on your library's answering machine, "The library
is now closed. However, you can still contact a live librarian, 24/7,
through InfoAnytime...."
*	In your announcements at closing time, remind patrons they can still
receive help via InfoAnytime.
*	Springtime means School Visits for many librarians...let teachers
and students know about InfoAnytime (this is #1 seed Granby PL's secret of
success.)
