Join your colleagues for a joint meeting of CLC's Technology Roundtable and
the Reference Roundtable on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at the New Britain Public
Library (directions) from 1-3 P.M. (1-1:30 is for registration and
refreshments, meeting will start promptly at 1:30). This program will
feature the engaging speaker Jessamyn West, a community technology
instructor, freelance writer and web designer, discussing "What do Web 2.0
and Library 2.0 Actually Mean?" Ms. West will talk about privacy issues,
ways libraries are using new technologies to reach and interact with
patrons, and how we can integrate them into our service delivery. If you are
still scratching your head and wondering what Library 2.0 is and how to use
