Congratulations to the libraries who won their respective divisions:

Capital CC (1) - South Division
These teams are currently in the exciting semi-finals with:
HC Hull, Clinton vs Wethersfield PL
and
Groton PL vs Capital CC
The semifinals will be a test of endurance - the competition lasts 4 days -
from May 9 through May 12.
CLC will report the results Tuesday May 13th. The number of InfoAnytime
Reference Sessions (the scores) will be added up over these four days. The
two winners will advance to the finals.
Advice from 2007 Winners:
Randy Fournier, Director of Manchester CC Library says, "Have fun marketing
InfoAnytime from every possible angle. MCC really focused on making their
teen students - who are already comfortable with chat - aware of this
service."
Rhonda Gilbert, Granby PL, also attributed their high stats last year staff
involvement and fun, "The staff really had fun using and promoting
InfoAnytime." They also got the schools involved.
Don't forget about the Best Transcript Category:
Bloomfield's Prosser Public Library won 2007's Best Transcript category.
The winning question? "What are four ways to subdivide plankton.?"
Fax your best transcript by May 16th to 860-344-9199.
Best of Luck to our Final Four!
