Thank you Roberta and the Children's Librarians' Roundtable - Capitol for
another great idea!
News Flash!!
The Ellison machine jointly owned by the former CRLC libraries has been
repaired and renewed. It is now residing at the Prosser Public Library in
Bloomfield. In addition, new dies have been purchased from Accu-Cut to tie
in with the Catch the Reading Bug summer reading programs. (All thanks to
funding from the CT Library Consortium.) The new dies include ants, bee#1,
beetle, butterfly #3, dragonfly, firefly and ladybug #2. To get a better
idea of what these look like, go to <http://www.accucut.com>
www.accucut.com. All of the dies are size large which means the cutout
shapes are between 4" and 5". When planning for your summer program,
consider a trip to Prosser to cut some special bugs using the Ellison
machine. Call Roberta La Monaca at 860-242-2972 to schedule a date.
