POSTED ON BEHALD OF THE CT CLEAN ENERGY FUND:

 

Please join us for informative presentations and discussion on improving the
effectiveness of climate change education and outreach in Connecticut.

 

The Governor's Steering Committee on Climate Change has been sponsoring a
series of public stakeholder meetings over the past year to gain input on
additional actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in CT.  The next
public stakeholder meeting will focus on Education and Consumer Actions and
will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at Yale University (Bowers Auditorium)
from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  The agenda will include:

*	A presentation on "Climate Change and the American Mind" by Anthony
Leiserowitz, Director of the Yale Project on Climate Change, 
*	Overview and updates on many CT climate change education
initiatives, 
*	Small group discussions on increasing the effectiveness of climate
change education and outreach.
