Topic - What do Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 Actually Mean?
Join your colleagues for a joint meeting of the Technology Roundtable and
the Reference Roundtable on Monday, June 9 at the New Britain Public Library
from 1-3 P.M. (1-1:30 is for registration and refreshments, meeting will
start promptly at 1:30). This program will feature the engaging speaker
Jessamyn West, a community technology instructor, freelance writer and web
designer, discussing "What do Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 Actually Mean?" Ms.
West will talk about privacy issues, ways libraries are using new
technologies to reach and interact with patrons, and how we can integrate
them into our service delivery. If you are still scratching your head and
wondering what Library 2.0 is and how to use it, this program is for you!
