The 2008 CLA Conference Committee is thrilled to present the 117th Annual
Connecticut Library Association Conference Innovation, Transformation &
Beyond @ CLA Monday, April 28 through Wednesday, April 30th at the Mystic
Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT.

>From an interactive hands-on opportunity to experience Web 2.0 applications,
to meeting and listening to best-selling authors, to innovative and exciting
children's and young adult programs, and a renewed effort to offer academic
librarians dynamic programs, this conference promises to deliver top notch
offerings to all Connecticut librarians. The three day event offers a wide
variety of national speakers including OCLC CEO Jay Jordan, Pew Internet and
American life Project Director, Lee Rennie, SirsiDynix Vice President for
Innovation, Stephen Abram as well as best selling author Elizabeth Berg and
Pulitzer Prize winning author, Debby Applegate. 

In addition to wonderful conference programs, the Mystic Marriott Hotel &
