Hi, Shelley,

 

I had asked this when they first began to happen. It is due to the
security used by the community college system. They are just trying to
warn us that the attached material may be spam. Anything we get from
other campuses seems to come through this way, even though we may know
the sender. You'll probably find it on this e-mail as well!

 

It's something I could live without, but apparently the system thinks we
shouldn't.

The attached email was sent from outside the CT Community College (CCC)
system yet has a "From" address that ends with commnet.edu. This makes
it appear as if it originated from inside our system. Under no
circumstance will this message show up in an actual message from the CCC
system.

department.
