Don't miss "Web 2.0 and Online Communities" a presentation and instruction
co-sponsored by CLC and Hartford Public Library on Friday, April 25 at
Hartford Public from 9:00 to Noon.

In Part 1, Ellyssa Kroski, an expert on emerging technologies and their
applications, will discuss Web 2.0 and show examples of how libraries and
librarians are using these technologies--Web 2.0, social networking,
bookmarking, RSS feeds, and wikis.
PART 1 - PRESENTATION
9:00-11:00 a.m., HPL Main Floor
Free and open to the public - No registration required

In Part 2, registered participants will move to the computer lab to receive
guided instruction in creating and using social networking and bookmarking
tools, RSS feeds, and wikis.
